The 1849 pocket revolver was designed by Colt and was also known as the Wells Fargo revolver. The original model was caliber .31 and featured a small frame and was used during Civil War, Gold Rush and in the Frontier. This small dragoon featured a 5 shot rotating cylinder that fired from a 3 inch octagonal shaped barrel.
